Thought for the Week…

We often get the message that we aren’t supposed to make mistakes, that mistakes are unacceptable and a sign that we aren’t working hard enough. Yet mistakes are inevitable. And, mistakes can make life interesting. Mistakes can lead to so many new and interesting things – unexplored areas, new solutions, and different perspectives just to name a few. There is even a word for it – serendipity. Serendipity is the phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for. Stop thinking about mistakes and realize you are opening the door for serendipity.
